This is a WONDERFUL idea. And thank you for planning it all out for us. I am going to shoot the moms an email now and see who wants to come. I may even suggest it as an unit event. I am very excited. Thank You!

  2. Teresa Wilkie Citrus    December 16, 2012 at 8:27 pm

This will be great fun and our Brownie Troop will learn valuable goal setting skills

  3. Emily Greater Atlanta    December 18, 2012 at 10:50 am

I can’t seem to find the “time” the live internet stream will happen. Does anyone know what time it will run?

    • Little Brownie Bakers    December 20, 2012 at 6:44 am

It’s 8:00 pm local time. We will post on the Little Brownie Volunteer Blog, the link to the Sleepover event early enough on January 12 to accommodate any troops who need to meet in the afternoon or early evening instead of the official 8 pm viewing time.

      • hurley thurston Southwest Texas    December 30, 2012 at 8:34 pm

I know this is the first annual, so I am hoping I can figure it out for our service unit “pajama party” from 2-5pm. The girls are so excited. Off to look at the volunteer blog more. Thanks sooo much!

      • Meri Weiss Chesapeake Bay    January 8, 2013 at 1:01 am

Thank you so much for the earlier access time! We’re unable to do a full sleepover, and opted for a pj party instead, and this will allow us to start a little earlier and let the girls go home in time for their regular bedtimes.

  4. Juanita Bellflower, CA    December 20, 2012 at 7:28 pm

We are so excited!!! We are looking forward to the Sleepover!!!

  5. Bernice GSNNJ    December 31, 2012 at 4:40 pm

I am so excited in the sleepover but also a little worried. We are staying at a church hall and I don’t know if we will be able to get internet service. Is there a DVD available to use on that date.

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 2, 2013 at 7:43 am

Great to have you participating in the sleepover! Each council was sent one DVD, directed to the product sales manager. Please contact the product sales manager within your council to inquire as to the availability of your council’s DVD.

  6. Michelle Hornets Nest    January 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm

Looks like fun; we are in!
I think we will end at 9 pm and start early enough to do some of the activites ahead of time.
I wish the video was earlier!

  7. Judy Giles GSHG    January 3, 2013 at 9:01 pm

I also would prefer this could be earlier. I am excited about this event though and can’t wait to have my girls participate!!

    • Judy Giles GSHG    January 3, 2013 at 9:02 pm

I have asked my council office about the DVD and they didn’t know anything about it. Can I still get a DVD . I would love to have it for my troop and to share with other troops.

      • Little Brownie Bakers    January 8, 2013 at 4:37 pm

We shipped the DVD to the product sales manager for each council. Please be sure to inquire with the product sales manager. We will post a link to the event early on January 12.

  8. Becky Montana and Wyoming    January 8, 2013 at 11:03 am

So, I keep clicking on the link to register that my troop will be participating. It keeps bringing me to some other survey program asking me for all kind of information, I do not want to share. We have approximately 9 4th grade juniors participating from Columbia Falls, MT.

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 8, 2013 at 4:20 pm

Sorry for the confusion. We have manually registered your troop. Please visit the Little Brownie site on January 12 to access the sleepover video link. We look forward to having you!

  9. susan merida Schott Munich Centeral    January 8, 2013 at 11:35 am

Just read above that a DVD was sent, we did not receive one, assume that’s because we aer overseas. Noting that you start at 8pm, that would be logistically difficult for us to start at 2am in Germany. Do you have any suggestions on how we coudl particiapate? Many thanks, Susan Schott, Co-OCC Munich Central

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 8, 2013 at 4:11 pm

We are pleased to hear that you will be joining the fun. As we want everyone to be able to participate, the video will be posted in time to view by 8 pm in ALL time zones, including Germany! The actual posting time will be 12:01 am EST on January 12, 2013. Please check the Little Brownie home page at that time and you’ll be able to access a link to the show. The link will remain on the site after January 12 as well. Enjoy!

  10. Florence Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida    January 8, 2013 at 3:24 pm

Hi we have 2 service units working together for our Mother/Daughter- Bring a Friend Pajama Party on Saturday night, so far we are at 210 girls and 140 adults! We are all very excited. I think this is a great idea and wonderful new tradition! Thanks Little Brownie for all of the ideas!

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 8, 2013 at 4:29 pm

Wow, that’s terrific! Great to have you. Enjoy the show!

  11. Mary GSCNC    January 8, 2013 at 4:36 pm

So this event is NOT LIVE as previously advertised. it’s basically just playing on a loop all day on January 12th……….? And the information telling the girls to have cells for texting, iPads, etc….. what are they for if the event is just a recorded program?

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 8, 2013 at 5:58 pm

The sleepover will appear to be live, much like television shows such as “Dancing with the Stars.” However, to meet the needs of councils in different time zones with different time preferences, the event is pre-recorded. During the evening of Jan 12, girls will be able to interact live using Twitter and Facebook. After Jan. 12, the recording will continue to be available online.

  12. Beth MidPeninsula    January 8, 2013 at 10:25 pm

    Hello

How do we give a shout out during the national sleepover? Can we do it from home or do we need to be in a central council location? Thanks. Beth

i have also been trying to register and keep getting sent to survey monkey how can we really register, i have contacted my own council and have not heard back also, we don’t have 3D glasses does that mean we won’t be able to participate in the quiz, or it will just be blurry

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 9, 2013 at 5:59 pm

We’ll manually register you. You’ll still be able to participate and enjoy the event without the 3D glasses. Enjoy the show!

  14. Kimberly Crawford Greater Los Angeles    January 9, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Will the link to the program be watchable through YouTube, so that I may share with the troop from my TV (via Apple TV)?

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 9, 2013 at 5:52 pm

Yes, it will be viewable through YouTube.

  15. Katherine Soria Northeast Texas - JoAnn Fogg Service Unit    January 10, 2013 at 1:38 pm

Hi! I am unable to locate anyone at our council who has received the DVD. It seems that no one other than myself has any information about it. I was hoping to use it Friday night because most of our troop was unavailable on Saturday. Is there a possibility that we could have it sent overnight? I would cover the shipping charge. Thank you kindly!

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 11, 2013 at 8:49 am

Sorry we aren’t able to supply the DVD. All councils were shipped the DVD to the attention of the product sales manager. Please contact the product sales manager at your council for the availability of the DVD.

    Hi,
We’re trying to set up and use You Tube rather than streaming from a computer. What is the YouTube Information we can use to access the video and will it be ready before 8pm Jan 12th? I have the prerecorded version on my computer right now but can not get it to stream glitch free on to the TV. The 3 minute intro video on youtube works perfect, how do we get the full 1 hour show from YouTube?
    Thanks

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 11, 2013 at 9:32 pm

The link will be posted on the LittleBrownieBakers.com website home page in the very early morning hours. Please try it tomorrow morning and you should be able to view the show just fine as it’s pulled into the site from YouTube.
