Does anybody know if this event will be available to view on-line after 1/12 for those who can’t do it on the actual night?

      • Little Brownie Bakers    January 9, 2013 at 8:19 am

The link will be available to access the event throughout January.

    • Kelly R Northern California GSUSA    January 11, 2013 at 10:49 am

OMG! our girls are so excieted to participate.. do u know if the movie will still show 3D from a projector?

      • Little Brownie Bakers    January 11, 2013 at 12:55 pm

Great to have you! Yes, but keep in mind that viewing through a larger screen may not be as clear.

  6. Danielle Sees Greater Los Angeles    November 6, 2012 at 11:02 pm

Hi! We are excited to join in the fun. Does anyone know what time the live event will be taking place?

  7. Kathy Vickroy GS western Pennsylvania    November 7, 2012 at 3:42 pm

It looks like a great idea but I
Have a few questions. Will we need a projector so all the girls can see? I am planning a cookie rally for our service unit and expect 80 or more girls. Should a break the girls into small groups and let each group spend 15 minutes watching the website? Also what time will the daytime sleepover be? Will we miss the website component of the sleepover if we have it in the afternoon?

    • Little Brownie Bakers    November 12, 2012 at 6:41 pm

Your event sounds like a lot of fun! The online event is scheduled for Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. everywhere in the country. At that time, Little Brownie Bakers will post the video on our website, and it will remain available through the 2013 Cookie Season. However, if you are having a sleepover event before then, you can still participate. In early December, Little Brownie will provide councils with a DVD of the show for distribution to those who may want to use a DVD rather than the Internet. Please contact your council for information about the DVD version. A projector is a great idea, since you will probably want all the girls to watch the one-hour program at the same time. Small group activities are best for before and after watching the program.

I’m not very up to date when it comes to the new 3D technology. Will we need some type of special TV to be able to preview the 3D portion. I’d hate to make the glasses and it not work out for the girls

        • Little Brownie Bakers    November 20, 2012 at 11:03 pm

One highlight of the online event will be an experience with cookies– in 3D! Girls can purchase 3D glasses at a local craft store, councils can purchase low cost paper 3D glasses online, in bulk, for girls to decorate, or girls can make their own 3D glasses at the event, using the instructions available at http://www.littlebrownie.com. However, 3D glasses are not necessary to enjoy the event and it can easily be viewed without them.

      • Jenny Fuller GSNETX    November 15, 2012 at 4:06 am

Is this going to be 8pm local time? Or am I in the Central Time Zone going to be able to view it at 7pm because it’s really 8pm in the Eastern Time Zone?

        • Little Brownie Bakers    November 20, 2012 at 10:56 pm

The event is at 8 p.m. local time, no matter what part of the country you are in. That is the time it will go live online.

  8. Mia GSLPG    November 9, 2012 at 10:36 pm

I’ve got the date Jan 12, 2013, what time will the fun start? Is it one specific time or will it be something on the website we can access anytime that day?

  9. Teresa GS Northern California    November 14, 2012 at 11:46 pm

Our council gave us a flyer with very basic information. The flyers says the girls will need phones, tablets or laptops if they want to interact with the show using Facebook and Twitter. I’m assuming this is for the girls to post their comments? Does the DVD have the same content as the online event on January 12th?

    • Little Brownie Bakers    November 20, 2012 at 11:07 pm

The sleepover will appear to be live, much like television shows such as “Dancing with the Stars.” However, to meet the needs of councils in different time zones with different time preferences, the event is pre-recorded. During the evening of Jan 12, girls will be able to interact live using Twitter and Facebook. After Jan. 12, the recording will continue to be available online.

    • Little Brownie Bakers    December 10, 2012 at 10:38 am

Is there a way to download the video of the Sleepover Dance? I don’t know that I’ll have internet at my facility and want to be able to show the video to teach the girls before the broadcast.

    • Little Brownie Bakers    January 11, 2013 at 8:57 am

No there isn’t a way to download – sorry. It’s easy to learn and with the lyrics you’ll be in step in no time! Looking forward to having you at the event!
